The NFL season begins shortly, and with as lame as the pro basketball offseason has been, I couldn’t be any happier.

I’ve been jocking the Cowboys since the season ended (and even before that) because now the pressure is on that franchise more than ever to win the Super Bowl as the big game will be held in their building.

The Cowboys drafted WR Dez Bryant, which I felt was a good move because 1) Roy Williams has been a complete bust and a bad front office move on every level and 2) Tony Romo needs plenty of options to throw to since Dallas’ running game is a joke.

But a story surfaced over the last 48 hours that Bryant has refused to participate in some bullshit ritual where rookies carry the pads back to the training facility.

Bravo, man.  Good for him.  It’s about time we rid our society of all of that shit.  Continue reading
