The Soft Greens

I must give a quick apology for the delay in posting this, Koz and I both took extended breaks from FOH in the past year and we missed the release of new material from one of our FOH endorsed bands.

The Soft Greens is the solo project of Conor Mackey of Loose Lips Sink Ships.  An electronic pummeling of the senses, it is quite a bit different than Conor’s band yet it holds some of the same shape shifting and melodic structures.

The Soft Greens have released 2 Ep’s both available for listen at their bandcamp site, make sure you check it out and grab the free download – Link

5 Questions with Loose Lips Sink Ships

FOH – The phrase “Loose Lips Sink Ships” was originally coined by the US Office of War during WW II, where did the inspiration for the name come from for you?

LLSS – The name came about from a discussion I had with my father. I had just started working for him and he owns a financial planning business. I remember very clearly him saying that “remember loose lips sink ships” in regards to keeping client information quiet.. I wrote it down in a journal and found it a few months later- we liked the idea of being an instrumental group with a name referring to watching what you say.
