In a foreign country I imagine there is a factory/studio that pumps out SyFy Channel original movies at the same rate as Hostess does Twinkies. Situated right next door to a bootleg DVD factory I am sure the CEO’s of each building meet for lunch daily for a quick dip in their money pit and to discuss how they will swindle us next. So before my review I would like to thank both of them for making our world a better place (oh and for wasting a few hours of my time).
We are almost done with 7 months of 2010 and with my favorite “first half” music list behind me I thought it was a good time to discuss some of the things that I am looking forward to finishing out the year with.
I was really sad to see Battlestar Galactica go but hope that the new spinoff show Caprica will fill the void left by the departure of my #1 ranked television show. Caprica takes place a generation before the recent BSG series and tells the story of how humans first created the Cylon. In a significant change from the last series, Caprica will take place mostly on “the ground” instead of in space and promises to be a taut drama riddled with political intrigue. The series premieres 1/22/10 on Syfy.
